For the curious, the Fanlistings.org defines a fanlisting as "the online listing of the fans of a subject." This particular fanlisting is for the character Amy Sorel of the games Soul Calibur II and Soul Calibur III.

So, why Amy? I grew to like her because of Raphael, mainly. She's very important to Raphael, of course, so my attachment to Raphael went to her. They're a family, a rather crazier-than-thou family, but a family nevertheless.

I'm also intrigued about her, and just what it was about her--and about Raphael--that caused the two of them to unite. Amy wanted to screw someone else over, and Raphael wasn't used to being the one not being screwed over, or having someone try to screw him over. So, have they really become a family? Well, Raphael seems to care for her, in his increasingly crazy way, but Amy hasn't really had a chance to get a say.

Let's hope Soul Calibur IV clears things up. She went from NPC to bonus character/extra skin for the fencer class. Come on, Namco, make her a fully playable character!
